Creme Brulee

I am preparing dinner for my sweetie tonight and decided to make creme brulee for dessert! Here are the yummy concoctions; I still have to cover them with sugar, torch them, and garnish them with strawberries. The main entree tonight will be oven broiled tuna steaks seasoned with olive oil, lemon, and sea salt, with a side of with sauteed corn and red bell peppers seasoned with shallots, cayenne pepper and cilantro.



It has been a busy week for Denver so I hope he is surprised!

A not so great day... When I got home from work today Denver approached me with a frown. He led me to the sunroom and it turns out there is something REALLY WRONG with it. Whatever the problem is, it was aggravated by the 0.70" of rain we had gotten that morning. The paint was all bubbly next to the window above the garage, and water was dripping down the corner wall and the adjacent one. There was also water dripping from the CEILING LIGHT in the middle of the sunroom, which we cannot figure out. So, just 2 weeks after rearranging the sunroom, we...
