1. Lose the last 10 pounds of baby weight so that the rest of my pre-pregnancy clothes fit. Hello Spinning bike, walking, and Pilates videos!
2. Eat less processed foods and aim for a more organic diet. We’re planning on joining a local CSA very soon.
3. Continue with my menu planning throughout 2010. As part of this, try at least 1 new recipe per week.
4. Be more frugal by cutting coupons often for grocery shopping. I use Couponsuzy.com and Coupons.com.
5. Use my camera each day (see my my 2010 Photo-a-Day blog on the right side of the page for a daily photo). Here’s the first one :)
For several reasons:
1. I have two days of work remaining until my vacation. Denver’s parents are coming for a couple of days starting this Wednesday, then my brother John is coming out on July 4. After that, Denver and I are driving to Michigan on the 8th to visit my sister- & brother-in-law, along with our niece and nephew (we haven’t met the little guy yet)! I am so excited because I feel like I really need a break.
2. New York City’s Restaurant Week is at the end of July! Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill is one of the participants, so Denver and I will definitely be going there in about a month. Check out the mouth-watering menu.
3. I just booked our hotel reservation for our trip to Las Vegas in December: at the Monte Carlo. We stayed here last time we went and really liked the atmosphere, location on the strip, and casino. Only 5 and a half months!!!
